Job Posting - RN - External (Temporary Full-Time Nights)
All volunteers are recruited and supervised by the Home’s volunteer coordinator. Our volunteers include people of all ages and from all walks of life.
A number of local organizations, agencies, and church groups also assist with regularly scheduled group activities such as bingo and monthly birthday parties or provide one-on-one visiting. The John Noble Home appreciates all volunteer work and provides a special volunteer recognition dinner annually. In addition to volunteers, the Home accepts students for clinical placement for several colleges. The students not only gain insight into the care of the elderly, they bring socialization for the residents.
The Recreation Department continues to look for volunteers to assist with portering to our Sunday morning Church Service and Social to follow in our Skylight Café from 9:00AM-11:30AM.
The Recreation Department is looking for Pub Night volunteers on a Tuesday evening from 6:00PM–8:00PM. Volunteers will assist with portering Residents to the Noble Hall and socialize during the program.
We are looking for Volunteers for Saturday from 11:00AM –1:00PM and 4:00PM –7:00PM and Sunday from 11:00AM – 1:00PM. Volunteers would come in over the lunch & supper times to set up with dining room, assist clients with their meals and clean up following meal time.
We are also looking for Volunteers to come in on the weekend and assist staff with activities such as reading to clients, assisting with crafts and other programs.
