October 13, 2026- Confirmed Respiratory Outbreak on Brant Terrcace
Public Health has declared Brant Terrace in a Suspect Respiratory Outbreak.
Visitors must be asymptomatic at the time of the visit. They must visit isolated Resident’s in the resident’s room and the visitor must wear PPE at all times. All visitors must wear a medical mask or full PPE during their visit (medical masks for non-isolated residents and full PPE for isolated residents)
Recreation will be doing small group Home Area Programs. No hair dressing services at this time.

Visiting
Hours
The Home believes visitors should be allowed to visit at any time.
Signing In and Out
All visitors must sign in and out at the front door and wash hands with alcohol based hand rub.
Visiting During an Outbreak
Visitors are only allowed under the following circumstances.
- Visitors are free of illness and are aware of the potential risk of acquiring illness.
- Visitors see only one resident per visit and exit the home immediately thereafter.
- Visitors need to sign in upon their arrival at the reception desk.
- Visitors wash their hands on arrival and just before leaving the resident's room.
- Visiting is restricted to the resident room.
- Visitation by outside groups, e.g. entertainers, meetings, community groups, etc., shall not be permitted.
